Ben Ross Davis is a Brooklyn based artist working across performance, illustration, photography, sculpture, sound, and digital media. His work is concerned with reconstructing and reconfiguring identity and how that manifests in the material worlds he lives between. His work is documentary in form via organic industrial hybridization. He has published over 10 publications available at Printed Matter and his online store. He has shown work or performed at Leslie Lohman Museum, The Center, Kaje World, Backhaus Projects, Kunstraum LLC, LES Gallery, the Pratt Institute Library, and David Zwirner. He currently teaches art classes to undergraduate students at Queens College and Baruch College in New York City.
